Dr. Qin received her B.S. in Pharmacy from Sun Yat-sen University and her Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Peking University (advisor: Prof. Peng R. Chen), followed by postdoctoral training at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research / Massachusetts Institute of Technology (advisor: Dr. Rudolf Jaenisch). She proposed the concept of chromatinized spatial proteomics and has published in Cell, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, JACS and Angewandte Chemie. Her group develops next-generation tools for cell engineering and therapeutic intervention.秦芳菲本科毕业于中山大学药学院，博士毕业于北京大学化学生物学专业（导师：陈鹏教授），随后在美国怀特海德研究所 / 麻省理工学院从事博士后研究（合作导师：Rudolf Jaenisch 院士）。她提出了“染色质空间蛋白质组学”的概念，研究成果发表于 Cell、Nature Biomedical Engineering、Nature Communications、JACS、Angewandte Chemie 等期刊。课题组致力于开发用于细胞工程与治疗干预的下一代工具。
Her research interests include chromatin dynamics, gene and cell therapy development, and cross-species genome evolution. She was selected for the National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientists Fund (C) and the Tianjin University “Extreme Fundamentals” talent programme in 2025.研究方向包括染色质动态机制解析、基因与细胞疗法开发以及跨物种基因进化。2025 年获国家自然科学基金青年 C 项目支持，并入选天津大学“极基础”专项人才项目。
Our team brings together postdoctoral researchers, Ph.D. and master's students, and visiting scholars working across chemical biology, synthetic biology, genome editing and computational biology.
